Affordable and Reliable Newtowne Hyperbaric Chambers
Newtowne Hyperbaric Chambers are a premier line of FDA-cleared portable hyperbaric chambers that operate at a consistent 1.3 ATA (4 PSI) in pressure. Unlike many imported models, these units are made in the USA, ensuring compliance with rigorous safety standards and the use of high-quality medical-grade materials.

What FDA Cleared Means
For a Newtowne Hyperbaric Chamber, being FDA-cleared via the 510(k) process) means the government has verified that the product is safe and effective for its intended use. It is a professional "seal of safety" that distinguishes medical equipment from generic consumer products.
- Proof of Safety: Before a chamber can be sold, the manufacturer must prove to the FDA that it is built with medical-grade materials and won't fail under pressure. This is why many choose Newtowne's Made in the USA FDA #K051759 status. Newtowne has maintained a perfect safety record for nearly 20 years.
- Regulated Manufacturing: The FDA requires the manufacturer to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This ensures that the 100th hyperbaric chamber coming off the line is just as safe as the first. Every valve, zipper, and seam has been tested for 1.3 ATA (4 PSI) safety.
- Prescription Requirement: As Class II Medical Devices, a doctor’s prescription is required. This ensures a medical professional has confirmed that hyperbaric therapy is appropriate for your specific health goals. If you do not have a doctor knowledgeable in hyperbarics, we have multiple doctors available at Healing The Hyperbaric Way who can assist you.
Superior Build Quality and Safety Features
Durability and Lifespan
People want to know if their investment will last. Newtowne Hyperbaric Chambers are built from 46 oz. heavy-duty, double-laminated ballistic-grade nylon. This is a hypoallergenic, medical-grade material that is incredibly resistant to punctures or tears. When properly cared for, these chambers are designed to last 8-10 years or more.
Window Design - The "Bug-Eye" Prevention
Cheaply made hyperbaric chambers can have windows that "bulge" or distort when pressurized. Newtowne uses exclusive port pressure covers (hard port covers). This reinforces the window strength and prevents that "bug-eye" effect, ensuring you have a clear, undistorted view while you relax inside.

Emergency Safety Systems
Users often worry about power interruptions. Newtowne addresses this with a built-in Power Outage Alarm. The system includes an audible alarm that sounds immediately if the pump stops or power is lost, giving you total peace of mind during your session to start the deflation process.

Maximizing Your Comfort with an External Frame
Most portable hyperbaric chambers feel smaller once you’re inside, but Newtowne uses an external frame system. This design prevents any space from being lost inside the hyperbaric chamber, giving the user significantly more room to move and relax.
- No Interior Obstructions: You have 100% of the interior diameter at your disposal.
- Structural Integrity: The frame supports the chamber shape even when it is not fully pressurized, making entry and exit much easier.

Enhancing Your Results with Supplemental Oxygen
When purchasing Newtowne Hyperbaric Chambers, please note that an oxygen concentrator is not included. However, adding supplemental oxygen may significantly increase the therapeutic benefits.
- From 21% to 95% Oxygen: Without a concentrator, you breathe ambient air (21% oxygen). By adding a concentrator, you increase oxygen levels to 95% medical-grade oxygen, maximizing the effectiveness of your 1.3 ATA session through a mask or nasal cannula. Nasal cannula pictured below

Simple Assembly and Daily Operation
Newtowne Hyperbaric Chamber Industry’s Easiest Assembly Process
Newtowne chambers are a "no-frills" design engineered for simplicity.
- Pure Performance: These chambers do not come with internal air-cooling systems or fan covers, which reduces mechanical complexity.
- Reliability: By removing extra electronic components that often require maintenance, Newtowne ensures the chamber is simple, durable, and ready for use!
Your Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Started
- Power Up Oxygen: Turn on your oxygen concentrator first. Set it to a maximum of 8 LPM when attached to the chamber.
- Inflate: Plug in your compressor. Note: Newtowne compressors do not have an on/off switch; they begin operating as soon as they are plugged in.
- Prep Yourself: Take a quick trip to the bathroom! You’ll be in the chamber for 60 to 90 minutes.
- Enter the Chamber: Get inside and make yourself comfortable.
- Seal and Pressurize: Zip the three zippers up completely and close your pressure relief valve.
- Relax: Lie or sit back for your rejuvenating session. To exit, follow these steps in reverse.
Solo Operation and Installation Support
- Solo Use: These chambers are designed for individual use, assuming the user has full mobility to enter, exit, and seal the unit.
- Installation Support: If you aren’t physically able to set it up, we can send a professional installer to your location.
