Led by internationally recognized expert Dr. Zayd Ratansi ("Dr. Z"), this 4-day in-person intensive delivers everything your clinic needs to launch or elevate a safe, effective, and profitable hyperbaric program.

We will have hyperbaric chambers on-site for live demonstrations and practical training.

Furthermore, as fire marshals become increasingly active in inspecting clinics, it is critical to be prepared. We will go through exactly what you need to know to act as the safety director of a hyperbaric clinic, ensuring you walk away with a concrete, compliant safety plan for your facility.

Course Logistics & Details

• Dates: October 29 – November 1, 2026
• Schedule: Days 1, 2, and 3 run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Day 4 is a half-day, concluding by 1:00 PM.
• Location: The Royal Sonesta, Downtown Portland, OR (Exclusive attendee room rates starting at $105/night)
• Tuition: $2,500.00 (Plus $170.00 IBUM exam/registration fee paid directly to IBUM upon exam)

Whether you are a medical provider or a hyperbaric chamber operator, this comprehensive hyperbaric certification program allows you to earn an internationally recognized credential from the International Board of Undersea Medicine (IBUM) upon passing your written and practical exams:

1. FMHC (Functional Medicine Hyperbaric Clinician)

Designed for MD, DO, ND, DC, APRN/NP, PA, and FM providers. Focuses on clinical application in regenerative medicine, patient assessment, protocol development, and safe off-label HBOT.

2. IHT (Intermediate Hyperbaric Technician)

Designed for chamber operators, clinic staff, and technicians. Focuses on technical proficiency, safe operation of both hard and mild chambers, emergency procedures, and daily protocols.

Your 4-Day Hands-On Curriculum

Leave the theory behind and get 100% mentor-led, direct instruction:

• Day 1 - Foundations: Science, safety, regulations, and patient assessment. (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Day 2 - Clinical Applications: Protocol design, documentation, and case studies. (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Day 3 - Hands-On Training: Equipment mastery, oxygen safety, and emergency drills utilizing our on-site demonstration chambers. (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Day 4 - Advanced & Certification: Practice management and IBUM certification testing. (Half day: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
